Cirrus Cirrus aircraft announced they have produced their 2000th aircraft. Nearly 700 Cirrus employees and other onlookers were there as N2000M was pulled out of the hangar and onto the ramp.

Cirrus started producing aircraft in 1999 and had made 1000 planes by 2003. The aircraft are well known for their aircraft parachute recovery systems, glass cockpits, terrain awareness and traffic warning systems.

“The CIRRUS SR22 is such a good product it’s become the best-selling airplane on earth. Considering the SR22 is only four years-old, that’s amazing!” - Alan Klapmeier, President
