DiamondFest 2005 Underway at Diamond Aircraft’s London, Ontario Factory

by Mr. Flight on June 24th, 2005

Diamond Due to the success of last year’s DiamondFest, Diamond Aircraft is again this year inviting owners of Diamond airplanes to the London, Ontario factory for DiamondFest 2005, June 23 through 25, 2005. DiamondFest is co-organized with the Diamond Owners and Pilots Organization (DAPO). Attendees can tour the factory, get demonstration flights, and attend technical sessions offered by Diamond’s vendors. Diamond executives will provide first-hand updates on recent product developments, including the DA42 Twin Star and D-JET. Diamond’s complete lineup will be on display, including the DA20, DA40, DA40FP and DA42 Twin Star.

“The inaugural DiamondFest event turned out to be a real pleasure and a most enjoyable time. More important, though, is the fact that a first step has been made in bringing a critical communication and education protocol to the forefront of the Diamond Aircraft community.”
Jim Campbell, Aero-News.net

“This was a really stellar event, especially for the first year. Diamond’s hospitality was really first-rate, I learned a lot at the forums and really enjoyed meeting other Diamond owners.” Mike Rigg, DiamondStar owner

Held in conjunction with the London International AirFest, DiamondFest guests will have VIP seating for the exclusive “Hour of Power” where the airshow performers make low and fast passes down the flightline. The Katana Kafe will offer great viewing along with hors d’oeuvres and refreshments to DiamondFest participants at the Saturday airshow. Ontario offers summer activities for most interests, with easy access to Niagara Falls and Toronto.
