Dinner on a Balloon at 24,000 Feet

by Mr. Flight on July 1st, 2005

USA Today has an interesting story about David Hempleman-Adams hosting a dinner party at 24,262 feet in a balloon last week. Strangely enough they didn’t break the high altitude dinner party world record (I didn’t know we kept track of this kind of thing) until they reached 22,326 feet. At 58° below zero I wonder how the wine was?
