Aerostar Festival Receives S-LSA Certification

The Aerostar Festival R40S received certification as a special light-sport aircraft (S-LSA) on July 22.

Manufactured by Aerostar S.A. of Romania, the Festival R40S is imported into the United States by LightSportFlying.com. The aircraft is powered by a Rotax 912 ULS 100-hp engine, features side-by-side seating and a tricycle landing gear.
