Cubcrafters Fall Open House
CubCrafters will be having a Fall Open House at their headquarters in Yakima Washington Saturday October 8th and Saturday October 15th. Their invitation follows.
Dear Friend,
Because you have indicated a special interest in our aircraft, I would like to personally invite you to join us at our facility in Yakima, Washington, for one of two special Saturday’s in October. You will have a chance to fly our airplanes, tour our new aircraft factory, our just expanded Super Cub Rebuild shop, and visit with our craftsman technicians, pilots, and other staff here at our headquarters. More importantly, your joining us on one of these weekends will allow you the opportunity to interact with us one on one, have all your questions answered, and place your order for a new airplane.
We will be providing information for special rates at local accommodations as well as transportation to and from Yakima Air Terminal if needed. We will also plan some special events for spouses and significant others, including tours of local wineries. Travel options include direct air service into Yakima on Horizon Air via Seattle. A second option is flying into Seattle and driving about two hours southeast to Yakima, which is a very pretty drive across the Cascades. You can fly into Portland, Oregon, and drive about three hours northeast and that’s a nice drive up the Columbia River.
You should plan to arrive Friday evening, spend all day Saturday with us and depart on Sunday. Barring inclement weather, Saturday will be a full day of flying and time at the factory. We will provide a light lunch at a favorite local grass strip and dinner and cocktails together later in the evening. If necessary, we may have additional time for flying on Sunday.
We want everyone to have ample flying time in our aircraft, so we are limiting reservations to ten per weekend. To RSVP, please call or email me soon at one of the contacts below. The bottom line is we are going to have a lot of fun these two Saturdays. I look forward to hearing back from you.
