Honeywell ( Bendix / King ) Employees Face Layoffs

by Mr. Flight on August 31st, 2005

Honeywell International is currently undergoing restructuring that could impact as many as 2,000 of the company’s 42,000 aerospace employees. The reorganization is expected to be complete by the end of the year and could impact up to five percent of Honeywell’s employees.

“The company is essentially looking at 42,000 jobs and bringing a new organization to bear,” said Honeywell spokesman Bill Reavis.

In good news for GA, Honeywell has said that the reorganization is to focus more of its attention (in part) on general aviation products.
