Glider Pilots Increasing Use of GPS Technology

Robert Bushby to be Inducted into EAA Homebuilders Hall of Fame

During ceremonies at EAA headquarters on October 21st Robert Bushby will be inducted into the EAA Homebuilders Hall of Fame. Bushby currently lives in Illinios and has been a pilot for 62 years.
“I think that’s the greatest thing that ever happened to me,” Bushby said. “This is the culmination of a lot of EAA work.”

Larry Mauro to be Inducted Into EAA Ultralight Hall of Fame

Larry Mauro and friend split the $10 purchase price for a set of plans to build a Icarus II glider in 1927. Their $5 investment took them a long way… Mauro started the Ultralight Flying Machine Company which produced hang gliders. In 1975 he added an engine and a new breed of aircraft began.
