N184TA Stolen

by Mr. Flight on December 20th, 2005

N184Ta A nearly new Cessna Skylane, N184TA, has been reportedly stolen from an airport in California. According to reports, the owner was going out to fly his plane after flying it since sometime in August. While the hangar was double locked with no signs of forced entry, N184TA was missing… So were the maintenance log books.

Despite a nearly four month window when the plane might have disappeared, the “Terrorism Early Warning Group” was notified.

“I don’t know when they took it. It could be used for all sorts of purposes,” he said. “It’s a brand new plane. I want my plane back.” - Vincent McLeod, owner.
