The GlobalFlyer is on the ground and Steve is safe. However during the descent he had a generator problem and had to declare Mayday. He diverted to Bournemouth and considered ditching at one point. More info to follow!
Update: News is reporting Steve had a “very hard landing” and at least two tires burst.
