Going to Space in 2008?

Virgin Galactic says they are on track to launch passengers into space sometime near the end of 2008. About 50,000 people have put down their names on a “want to fly” list. NASA has offered the Kennedy Space Center as a launch area however Sir Richard Branson has said the flights will most likely originate from Mojave California.

Scaled Composites is currently working to build a fleet of five spaceships with test flights beginning late next year.
