Harbor Aviation Trihull Amphibian

by Mr. Flight on February 24th, 2006

harbor aviation trihull amphibianA company called Harbor Aviation is developing a new trihull based aircraft which they say will make one of the most efficient amphibious aircraft. There are three designs they are working on, a “4 Seat Sky Yacht”, “15 Seat City Shuttle”, and the “48 Seat HarborJet”.

Their technology is available to aircraft designers who would like to license Harbor Aviation technology for their designs.

“There are currently no plans to accommodate the growth of air travel in the U.S., while growing passenger traffic is resulting in longer delays and heavily congested airports,” said Russell Belden, Harbor Aviation’s president. “Our technology will offer a real alternative to the airport, and enable passengers to travel more quickly and comfortably than ever before.”

I am one of a group interested in developing a Light Sport amphibian aircraft center in the Pacific Northwest.Do you have any plans to support such an endeavor ? I have previously asked for your response, but have never received any reply. We are barely getting started, and would appreciate any information you can provide regarding availability of the Tri-hull. Jack Talbot,(425)397-6034. P.S. We are aware of the humble beginnings of Kenmore Air,and how successful they have been,so we ask you to extend some encouragement for our similar beginning efforts.
