Strong First Quarter for GA
The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) has reported a strong first quarter for the General Aviation industry. Billings for the quarter were up almost 40% over the same period last year. Total airplanes shipped increased by almost 35%.
“These positive figures, if sustained, are an indication that the year will be a solid one for general aviation,” said Pete Bunce, GAMA’s President and CEO. “All segments of the general aviation manufacturing industry are continuing to increase at strong levels.”
