Researchers at UND say they are close to testing a new fuel for jets made from converted crop oils. The “Biojet Fuel” still has a few flaws though… it tens to jell up under extremely cold temperatures and when it has been sitting around for awhile.

Laminar Research, the authors of X-Plane, have developed a new simulator for the Avidyne PFD called AvioApp. AvioApp is a separate program which can connect to X-Plane over a LAN and simulates the Avidyne PFD.
