Powered Parachute Coast-to-Coast

by Mr. Flight on May 1st, 2006

Baron-Tayler-Powered-Parachute-Coast-To-CoastBaron Tayler is about to embark on quite an exceptional journey. On May 10 Baron is schedule to take-off from the USS Midway aircraft carrier in San diego from his powered parachute. (Suppose they will let him use the catapult?)

From there he will travel across the USA before landing on the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier off the ocast of Charleston, South Carolina. (Has he got a tail hook on that ting?) The trip is expected to take about 8 to 12 weeks.

You can view the map of his planned route here and watch a promotional video here.
