Cessna Light Sport

by Mr. Flight on June 22nd, 2006

The Wichita Eagle is reporting that Cessna is looking into a light sport aircraft and will display a full scale model at Oshkosh next month. With Light Sport being the highest growth rate segment of aviation, this would be a logical next step.

Cessna says they have not yet decided if they will put a light sport aircraft into production and that decision won’t come until next year.

Glad Cessna is entering the LAS market but I really think their, and others look bad. Cessnas LAS needs to get rid of that gull wing look yuk. I can’t stand rotax crap. cont.0-200 or bust. What is it, more bull on the fact that it’s the cost. Hell they already costs 100,000k and no faa certs that use to cost millions to certify something. come on, who feeding whom…..
